Chicken Fabric and Upholstery Material

Which rooms in the house can I use your cockerel fabric in?

The Cockerel Collection contains the first fabrics Vanessa designed over 21 years ago now. They were initially hand printed on an old ping pong table whilst her four small children played beneath. They collected feathers from guinea fowl, pheasants, and hens outside their kitchen door, which were the inspiration for these two designs. Fabrics depicting hens, cockerels, and feathers have been popular over the last century and continue to create a homely feel in a house and give delight. They are timeless and ageless motives, here they are stylised, simplifying the shapes and colour to give a more contemporary feel. They are printed on a lovely linen union making them suitable for curtains, blinds, cushions, and upholstery.

Does chicken print fabric suit any room?

The answer is yes. Cockerel and Spot and Feather and Egg hang in many playrooms, kitchens, and sitting rooms and are old favourites. Remember you can also add coordinating fabrics to complement these designs, such as Plain Dotty, Acorn and Leaf, Botanical Trellis, Little Leaf, French Ticking, and of course, any of the Plain Linen Unions!
