Made to Measure Designer Cushions

What shades of green do your fabrics come in and how do I choose for my cushions?

We have long been programmed to feel relaxed around the colour green; it is after all the colour of nature. We associate forest green with peace balance and harmony.

As with all colours green comes in all sorts of hues.

Moss is our newest and most popular green, it's warm and looks wonderful with blue and pink. Cushions made from Little Fern, Wild Fern, Sow and Scatter in particular would really freshen up a room.

The softest green shade for fabrics is Apple Green. This is beautiful when mixed with a bright Raspberry, which you can see in Vanessa's very first design, Cockerel and Spot. It goes well with its coordinating Stripe and Dash, Down to Earth and Paisley Ground fabrics.

Kale and Olive are warmer greens, they team beautifully with pinks and reds - see Fruit Garden, Origami and Pie in the Sky.

Lichen is a luxurious dark green. It suits as library, study, hall or perhaps a teenage boy’s room. Perfect examples of this are in the Fern & Dragonfly, Little Fern and Lattice Leaf designs.

Between green and blue there are some beautiful shades, namely Smoke and Water. Smoke is one of our best-selling colours and works particularly well with Hay, Limestone and Peach. See designs Pretty Maids, May Blossom, Dainty Daisy, Gypsy and Bird Hop, to name a few!

We can make Made to Measure cushions using our designer fabric in a selection of sizes or styles.

Each of our bespoke cushions are beautifully made for you by professionals in our traditional workshop based in the Cotswolds. They are hand finished with great care and attention and delivered to you well within eight weeks.
