This collection is in tune with a simple way of life - the pleasures of a country walk - the nostalgia of a familiar shape. I love the serenity of a one-colour print exemplified by Fern and Dragonfly and Woodland Walk. The 1950's produced designs with a special energy which I have tried to encapsulate in Nature Study and Leaf Fall. The inherent simplicity of Plain Check has a timeless appeal which works well in both country and urban houses.
