Made to Measure Lampshades

Our handmade lampshades are expertly created and made to order with meticulous attention to detail. Custom made Drum, Empire, Candle, and Pleated Lampshades are available for both ceilings and lamp bases, and covered in your dream fabric.

Your custom drum and empire lampshades will be delivered within 5 weeks after payment, while Pleated lampshades will take up to eight weeks, (Lead times are subject to fabric availability, please contact us in advance to check stock).

What lampshade style options are available?

The different styles are: (1) Drum Lampshade without contrast lining, (2) Drum Lampshade with contrast lining, (3) Empire (4) Pleated, or, (5) Pair of Candle Shades - these are always sold as a pair when ordering. Candle shades come with a fitting that clips onto the light bulb itself using a 'candle clip fitting'.

*Please note the Empire, Pleated, and Pair of Candle Shades do not come with contrast inner lining options.

Drum Lampshades

Small - Diameter: 20cm x Height: 20cm, 25cm or 30cm

Medium - Diameter: 30cm x Height: 20cm, 25cm, 30cm or 35cm

Large: Diameter 40cm x Height 20cm, 25cm, 30cm, 35cm, 40cm

Extra Large: Diameter 50cm x Height 30cm - This size requires fabric to be joined, so will have two visible seams.

*Starting from £87 (Based on a small drum shade in Plain Linen fabric, with no contrast lining). 

Empire Lampshades

Small - Top Diameter: 10cm x Height: 17cm x Base: 25cm

Medium - Top Diameter: 15cm x Height: 25.5cm x Base: 40cm

Large - Top Diameter: 20cm x Height: 26cm x Base: 40cm

*Starting from £86 (Based on a small empire in Plain Linen). These cannot be made with contrasting inner linings.

Pleated Lampshades

Small - 10" - Top Diameter: 15cm x Height: 17.5 cm x Base: 25cm

Medium - 12" - Top Diameter: 18cm x Height: 20cm x Base: 30cm

Large - 14" - Top Diameter: 20cm x Height: 22.5cm x Base: 35cm

Extra Large - 16" - Top Diameter: 25cm x Height: 25cm x Base: 40cm

Please note that the 10" & 12" pleated shades come with a fixed gimble, and the 14" & 16" shades are supplied with a loose gimble.

*Starting from £183 (based on a small pleated shade in Plain Linen fabric). These cannot be made with contrasting inner linings.

Pair of Candle Shades

These extra small shades for wall lights are always sold as a pair - Top Diameter: 8cm x Height: 13cm x Base: 14.5cm

If a contrast lining is chosen for the inside of the drum Lampshade, will the fabric show through?

If another of our fabrics is used for the inside of your drum lampshade, it will show through slightly when lit at night. Our maker uses a white laminate to place the fabrics onto, so the secondary fabric is as hidden as it can be, but when lit during the evening, will show through a little. During the day this is of course not a problem, but please be aware of this when considering your lampshade ideas.

All our lampshades are supplied with a UK B22 standard fitting. The smaller candle shades come with a fitting that clips onto the light bulb itself using a 'candle clip fitting'.
