The Plain Linen Unions have a rub test of up to 36,000, making it highly durable and long lasting. This combination of linen and cotton allows for a softer feel when handling the curtains, even if just used as a leading edge which is beneficial in itself as it helps to protect the main face of the curtain becoming tarnished.
