Made to Measure Lampshades

For the previous month, Vanessa has selected two fabrics that she particularly likes from one design: Origami. A multi-directional fabric that works well for soft furnishings including lampshades.

If you want a geometric, colorful lampshade for your space, this pattern is ideal.

The more colorful of the two, Indigo and Kale, combine to create a beautiful blue-green design. Consider choosing one of these two colours for your shade's inner contrast lining. This only applies to drum lampshades, however it gives you additional choices when it comes to combining two fabrics on one piece to make a unique, hand-crafted focal point for your space. For instance, the outer fabric of this Origami could have a Simple Ticking Detail Kale on the inside lining.

The deeper shades of Indigo and Charcoal might work better in a larger space where the colours don't overpower and make the room appear smaller than it is.

We make pleated, empire, drum, and candle shades (the candle shades always come as a pair).
