Do you have any bird fabrics for Roman Blinds?

I have created several bird designs to make into Roman Blinds, our feathered friends being one of Vanessa's passions in life! Small garden birds must be the most amazing creatures, taking weeks to create the most beautiful and intricately woven nests.

Here are our bird print Roman Blind designs:

Cockerel and Spot was inspired by the hens and cockerels in Vanessa's garden.

Dawn Chorus depicts stylised garden birds with spots and stripes. This 1950's style curtain fabric is inspired by the mid-century designer, Lucienne Day. These designs would suit roman blinds in both children and adult rooms.

The Bird Hop was created by Vanessa's daughter, Flora, depicting a characterful and friendly plump bird.

Song Birds shows a small garden bird sitting amongst the foliage of Dog Roses. This design is particularly beautiful in the Buttercup yellow and wavy vertical stripes. 

Branching Out and In Full Flight are two bird fabrics created by lino cutting, both depicting flying stylized birds set within a circular leafy trellis.

Swallow Dive and Up in the Air are both from the Meadow Collection which first came out many years ago, but are still with us now. Both are in beautiful soft blue colourways. 

All these designs have interest and fascination for children and adults alike. The beautiful colours of these bird fabrics mean they can be used for Roman Blinds in all rooms.

Borders - You can add a 5 cm contrasting bottom border, or an all-round border on the right, left, and bottom edge of the blind. Any of Vanessa's fabrics can be used for this, for example Gypsy Garland in Dove, with a bottom border in Stockholm Stripe - Dove, Winter, or Pretty Maids in Dove and Winter. Plain linen unions also make great borders for Roman Blinds.
