Made to Measure Roman Blinds
How to dress large modern windows using Roman Blinds?
Sometimes these can be somewhat overwhelming due to the size of space to potentially cover or dress, but actually these are the best space to work with. You can really add impact through design and colour that will not only look beautiful, but incorporate designs within the space that really complement the rest of the room.
Some of the fabrics that would best suit this scheme would be our following fabrics: Shibori, Origami, Lattice Leaf, Up the Garden Path, French Ticking, Stockholm Stripe, and many many more.
A well-dressed window can be achieved by choosing a larger pattern, such as stripes, which will serve as the foundation for layering your soft furnishings. For instance, to make a lovely and cosy dressed window, choose Roman Blinds for your window and draw curtains over them. Why not choose a leading edge that matches the colour or pattern of your blinds' border? This would help in tying things together and make them appear intentional. Once you've decided on your colour selections, you can then incorporate the border colours/designs into other soft furnishings in the space to maintain consistency. For example, you could add contrast piping to a scatter cushion or use the same design on a lampshade, the options are endless!
You can order your Made to Measure Blinds, Curtains, Cushions and more, straight from our website. The online video guide will help you measure your windows for blinds. For a written guide on how to measure, please click here where you can print or download a copy for yourself.
Please ask for fabric samples and see the colours in your rooms. If you order a half metre returnable sample you can drape them over your existing shades, or just in situ to where the shade will go, and see how it looks.
All our fabrics are printed in the UK on a good weight of 100% Linen, and Linen Union, making them suitable for lampshades, curtains, blinds, cushions, and upholstery. We hold a good stock of all our fabrics ensuring delivery is usually within 3-5 working days subject to availability. The same team, who takes your order will roll, inspect and cut it, so accuracy and quality can be assured.
