Made to Measure Roman Blinds

Can I have Roman Blinds in my baby's bedroom or nursery?

Roman Blinds can be used for nurseries and allow you to still use the window sill for toys and soft toys. The Roman Blinds can be made to sit inside or outside a recess. We make Roman blinds child safe, so if you order your Roman Blind through our Made to Measure service you can be sure the blind will be suitable and safe for use in your nursey.

Can you make a pelmet to cover the top of the blind if it is placed outside the recess?

Yes we make beautiful pelmets, made from Essex board covered in fabric which is then perfectly pattern matched to your blind.

Borders - You can add a 5 cm contrasting bottom border, or an all-round border on the right, left, and bottom edge of the blind. Any of Vanessa's fabrics can be used for this, for example Gypsy Garland in Dove, with a bottom border in Stockholm Stripe - Dove, Winter, or Pretty Maids in Dove and Winter. Plain linen unions also make great borders for Roman Blinds.
