Made to Measure Roman Blinds

These are Vanessa's top four favourite fabrics for Roman Blinds, as chosen during the last few months.

Fine Foliage has a relaxed style, ideal for Roman Blinds because it lets you include one of the four colours into your blind as a pelmet (suitable for blinds installed outside of recesses only) or a border. This design, like the  folded stacks, are horizontal. Below is an example of this specific fabric on a Roman Blind with contrasting border, which as you can see works perfectly with the leading edge on the adjacent curtain; a simple but incredibly effective touch!

Little Fern Roman Blinds are fantastic as the primary fabric, or even as the finishing edges/reverse lining. If you wished to coordinate using the same colour scheme, there are other patterns available in this shade; if not, complementary contrasting colours like grey, blue, and green work just as well.

May Blossom, like the Little Fern above, is multidirectional and features a small pattern repeat. Depending on the length or drop of your blind, you could railroad the fabric to save costs. Block grey can occasionally make a space feel cold, so the Pigeon hue, which is a grey with a faint tinge of green, is quite distinctive, yet really soft on appearance, so it fits great in neutral interior designs that need just a bit of warmth. This fabric goes great with any coordinates but think about adding additional green fabrics—plain or printed—to really bring out the green in the May Blossom. Lettuce, Field Green, Moss, Olive, and Kale are a few examples of our green colours that are options to consider.
