Made to Measure Roller Blinds
How do I dress a big window? Should I choose Roller Blinds for my large window?
There a no rules for choosing fabrics for big windows. Large patterns though are a good choice, for example, the Herbaceous Border Detail design depicts beautiful gentle flowers in soft pastel colours, all resting on a soft cream background. Other larger designs include Dawn Chorus, Woodland Walk, Fern and Dragonfly, Gypsy Garland, Song Birds, and many more.
The gentle trellis of Fruit Garden is very suitable for large windows. Equally Pretty Maids with its timeless spot motif makes stunning blinds or curtains for large windows, not just as the main fabric but for bottom borders as well. Our design: Up the Garden Path makes beautiful big blinds, and being a one-colour print creates a simple Scandinavian look.
We suggest choosing both Roller Blinds and Curtains when it comes to dressing a big window. You can make the most of the space by creating a focal point in the room by using similar, or the same fabrics, for the leading edges of your curtains to match the borders of your Roller Blinds, colours that provide consistency for both, and designs that work well together in situ. Bear in mind that the maximum size for Roller and Roman Blinds is 240cm x 240cm, whereas curtains we can make to any size.
