How do grey cushions make a room feel?

The colour grey is subdued, quiet and reserved. Rarely is grey a perfect mix of black and white - it often has elements of other colours such as blue, green, pink, mauve or yellow within it which lift it and energize it. 

Cushions made from dark shades can be dramatic and need to be lifted with accents of yellow, orange, red or pink.

What grey cushion fabrics do you have?

Our grey fabrics for cushions are called: Winter, Charcoal and Scree, Dove, and Clay with Winter the darkest and closest to black. Charcoal is a mid-grey, easy to live with and kind on the eye.

Our softer and our most popular warm grey is Dove, which we mix with Saffron and Smoke, in stripes, spots and prints.

The prettiest of all our greys is Clay whom we team with Damson and Sweet Pea pinks.

We can make beautiful hand sewn grey cushions for you through our Made to Measure service.

Please ask for fabric samples and see the colours in your rooms. If you order a half metre returnable sample you can drape it over an existing chair and see how it looks. All our fabrics are printed in the UK on a good weight of 100% Linen and Linen Union making them suitable for curtains, blinds and upholstery. We hold good stock of all our fabrics ensuring delivery is usually within 3-5 working days, with an overnight service available by phone call request. The same team who takes your order will roll, inspect and cut it, so accuracy and quality can be assured.

We can make Made to Measure cushions using our designer fabric in a selection of sizes or styles.

Each of our bespoke cushions are beautifully made for you by professionals in our traditional workshop based in the Cotswolds. They are hand finished with great care and attention and delivered to you well within eight weeks.
