Made to Measure Roman Blinds

What block printed fabrics would be suitable for Roman Blinds?

Our block printed fabrics make up the Forest Collection, Wild Fern, and Little Fern. They all come in a variety of colours, on both cream and coloured backgrounds, ranging from the Tomato red and Marigold orange, through to Scree grey and the softer Duck Egg blue.

Our Hand Printed fabrics have an unsophisticated edge that we find really beautiful. Close your eyes and imagine the precision and patience involved in creating something so unique. We love the distinctive marks and textures created by the blocks which are completely different from the smooth finish of conventional mechanically printed fabrics.

There are two different hand printed fabric designs to play with - a traditional paisley fertility symbol called Life and Eternity Detail, and a Simple Ticking Detail stripe.

HOW TO MEASURE UP FOR YOUR ROMAN BLINDS

INSIDE A WINDOW RECESS

Width: Measure across the recess at several points and give the narrowest measurement minus 1cm for clearance so the blind will run freely (see E on the diagram)

Length: Measure from the top of the recess to the bottom (see E on the diagram)

OUTSIDE A WINDOW RECESS

Width: Measure the width of the recess and add at least 5cms on each side for overlapping (see F on the diagram)

Length: Measure from the required starting position above the window to the length you require, adding 5cms on the length
