How does a grey made to measure roman blind make a room feel?
Grey is one of the most popular and versatile colours in interior design. It is ideal for a living room because you have so much choice in terms of shade, intensity, and colour combinations. Grey Made to Meausure roman blinds will make a room feel smart and sophisticated.
Our grey fabrics are called: Winter, Charcoal, Clay, Dove, and Scree, with Winter the darkest and closest to black. Charcoal is a mid-grey, easy to live with kind on the eye.
The softer and more popular soft warm grey is Dove, which we mix with Saffron and Smoke, in stripes, spots and prints.
The prettiest of all our greys is Clay which we team with Damson and Sweet Pea pinks, as well as Buttercup and Hay yellows.
Maximum sizes for Roman Blinds
The maximum sizes we offer are listed according to the two mechanism we offer:
Rotary Chain Track - 240cm width x 240cm drop
Wooden Batten - 130cm width x 150cm drop
Borders
Think about using a contrasting colour for a border along the bottom, or an all-round border on the left, bottom, and right hand side edges. This will bring in colours of existing soft furnishings, furniture, or accents in your room to help to nicely tie everything together.
HOW TO MEASURE UP FOR YOUR ROMAN BLINDS
INSIDE A WINDOW RECESS
Width: Measure across the recess at several points and give the narrowest measurement minus 1cm for clearance so the blind will run freely (see E on the diagram)
Length: Measure from the top of the recess to the bottom (see E on the diagram)
OUTSIDE A WINDOW RECESS
Width: Measure the width of the recess and add at least 5cms on each side for overlapping (see F on the diagram)
Length: Measure from the required starting position above the window to the length you require, adding 5cms on the length
